Lee McStoots was the son of Elisha Mack McStoots and Nora Carroll. He was born December 19, 1910. He married Dellar Mae Cook, the daughter of William Thomas Cook and Cynthia Hayes. She was the sister of the Essie Lee Cook who married his brother willie McStoots. Lee and Dellar Mae were the parents of: Terry, Pauline, Charles T., Roy L., Caney, Elvata, Nora, Lonnie and Roger McStoots.
Lee McStoots died at the age of 73 on April 3, 1984 in Grayson County, Kentucky. His son Caney predeceased him on October 11, 1974. They were both buried in the Tom Cook Cemetery east of Shrewsbury in Crayson County, Kentucky.
