Son of Thomas Kwiatkowski and Mary Kwiatkowski.

Joseph, who resided at 814 Brown Street, Wilmington, Delaware, served as a Private First Class, 104th Infantry, 26th Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on January 28, 1942 at Fort Dix, New Jersey. He was noted as Single, without dependents.

He "Died Of Wounds" in England received on October 10, 1944 during an advance on Bezange, France.

He had served in the Army for two years and eleven months at the time of his death and was decorated with a Purple Heart.
