Son of Edward Saulsbury Collins, Sr. and Jennie Littleton Collins.

Husband of Ann Lissy Collins.

Edward, who resided at R.F.D. 1, Dover, Delaware, served as a Private First Class in Company F, 363rd Infantry Division, U.S. Army during World War II.

He enlisted in the Army on May 17, 1943 in Camden, New Jersey. He was noted as being Married.

He was "Killed In Action" in Northern Italy.

He had served in the Army for one year and four months at the time of his death. He was decorated with the Purple Heart with one Oak Leaf Cluster.
