Rev. Calvin Dodge was one of four brothers who were FB ministers: Gurley, Edward, and Asa Dodge, Jr, whose parents were Asa and Sarah (Edson) DODGE. Calvin's son, Milo W. Dodge, also became an ordained FWB minister.
He married Sharlet Allen in 1844.
Calvin was licensed for the ministry at 25 yrs, and three years later was ordained by the Owego Quarterly Meeting at Dryden, N.Y., while engaged in a Revival with the Troy church. He held revivals after license at Cuba, Wirt, and Bolivar.
He was a useful man. Died age 67 years.
