BESSEMER CITY ~ Bessie Anne Laughlin Armstrong, 88, passed away June 6, 2012, at Gaston Memorial Hospital.
She was born Nov. 28, 1923, in Hennepin County, Minn., to the late John Quincy and Marion Banker Laughlin.
A graveside service will be held 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Bessemer City Memorial Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Criswell officiating.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lieutenant Ralph Eugene Armstrong; great-granddaughter, Tara Scott.
