McDonald Bolin was born April 18, 1841. After a long period of illness and suffering, the end came on Sunday morning, July 25th 1926, after a stroke of paralysis, at the age of 85 years, 3 months and 6 days. Mr. Bolin was a well known man in his community and was liked by all who knew him. He talked before he die as if he had made peace with the Lord. His wife and one son preceded him in death.
He leaves to mourn his departure, six children, Elmer, Marion, and Elsworth of Chestnut Grove community; Mrs. William Bolin of Oakland City, Indiana; Mrs. Robert McGee of Cannelton; and Mrs. John Litherland of Chestnut Gtove community. Services were held from Chestnut Grove Church Monday afternoon at two o'clock. Interment in Chestnut Gorve Cemetery, with Rev. Chitty officiating.
