BRODIE, Stephen D.

Stephen Dale Brodie 51, a Ramona, Oklahoma resident since 1975, died at 11:08 p.m. Wednesday, March 4, 1987, at the University Hospital in Augusta, Georgia.

Brodie was born on February 2, 1936 at Terre Haute, Indiana to Clifford and Pauline (Bailey) Brodie. Brodie had served with the U.S. Marine Corps and was a Veteran of the Viet Nam Conflict. Brodie married Elsie Louise "Billie" Kemp. They have made their home in Ramona since 1975 and for the past two years have been at Jackson, South Caroline where Brodie was employed with the B. F. Shaw Company of the Savannah River Plant. Brodie was a pipefitter by trade and was a member of Pipefitter's Local No. 397 of Bartlesville and was also a member of the First Baptist Church at Ramona, Oklahoma.

Brodie is survived by his wife, Mrs. Elsie Louise ‘Billie' (Kemp) Brodie of the home; one son, Jim Brodie of Ramona; and two grandchildren.

Funeral services for Brodie will be held at 2:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Ramona with the Rev. James Beck officiating. Interment will be in the Ramona Cemetery under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home. March 4, 1987
