Howard was the last child and only son born to David Franklin Clement and Mildred Susanne (Hudson) Clement. Sadly, his life was very short with his death at only age 6 months. At least we have a photograph of him at age 5 months taken with his very proud mother.
Howard was buried in the Woolliscroft Family Plot (Orig 03 Lot 712). His eldest sister Ethyle Mildred Clement was married to David Charles Woolliscroft, the grandson of William Bentley Woolliscroft (d:1898) and the son of William Bentley Woolliscroft (d:1918).
The loose relationship between the Clement and Woolliscroft remained strong over many years, even after the early death of David Charles in 1918. Ethyle, her second husband and her nephew visited the Woolliscroft 'ranch' near Julian every summer for several weeks at a time. A wonderful time was enjoyed by all of this extended family.
