In memory of Hal H. Dupuy, son of Robert H. and Iva Dupuy Steele.
Lost his life on USS Shark Submarine in the Pacific. The submarine was sunk with all hands on board while trying to rescue American prisoners of war.
He was a Torpedoman's Mate Third Class.

Listed as missing. Awarded the Purple Heart Medal.
He entered the Navy in December 1942, trained in San Diego and New London, Conn. Went overseas in February, 1943.
Awarded Asiatic-Pacific Ribbon with 3 Battle Stars and one commendation.
Hal was a graduate of Duncan High School and attended Cameron College.
