Hall's first periodical was "The Gospel Proclamation" (June 1847-September 1849)
Motto: "Go ye into all the world, and proclaim the Gospel to every creature" [CHRIST]. A monthly publication "devoted to the Defence of the Faith and Practice of Primitive Christianity. Edited and published by Alexander Wilford Hall. Heaton and Gressinger in St. Clairsville, Ohio printed the paper. This paper merged with the Western Reformer to be come the Proclamation and Reformer. Hall's last periodical was "The Microcosm" (Oct. 1885-1893?)
Motto: The Organ of Substantial Philosophy and a Monthly Journal of Substantialism and Collateral Discussions. This 32-page monthly continues Wilford's Microcosm and was published from 23 Park Row, New York by Alexander Wilford Hall who was Editor and Proprietor. Robert Rogers served as Associate Editor.
