Raymond E. Scoles, 91, of N5027 Sinissippi Point, Juneau, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2012, at the home of his son.
Raymond was born on July 10, 1920, in Watson, Mo., to Raymond E. and Blanche (Renshaw) Scoles. He was married to Grace Antonsen on Jan. 11, 1944, and then he was later married to Virginia Gustufson in 1969. He served his country during World War II in the U.S. Navy. He was employed by and retired from the Waukegan, Ill., Police Department as a detective. He was a pistol marksmanship instructor in Waukegan, Ill. He was also a member of the N.R.A.
Raymond is survived by one son Scott (Selina) Scoles of Juneau; one sister Norma Salo of Wakefield, Mich.; one grandson Levi; and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his two wives.
