COHEN, Alonzo B., 11th Ala. Inf. Regt., Company H - 1st Sgt., promoted to 3rd or Jr. 2nd Lt. on 5/1/1862. Had previously served as Judge Advocate for the "Carrollton Guards" company, which was formed in April 1861. Born 1842. Living in Pickens Co. by 1850. Son of Thomas J. Cohen. Occupation: Clerk. Residence in Carrollton. Cited as "Conspicious for Gallantry". Killed in action at Fraiser's Farm.
