A.L. Lewis Dead
A.L. Lewis, of east of the city, who has been here taking medical treatments and preparing fora surgical operation, died this morning at 1:20 o'clock. The deceased was aged 40 years and was a single man. The cause of his death was cancer of the bladder. Mr. Lewis was well known in the city, as he has been a prosperous farmer of this county for a good many years. He was a brother of Miss Hattie Lewis, county school superintendent. This afternoon the funeral arrangements had not been made, but the services probably will not be held until Sunday.

Funeral of Mr. Lewis
The funeral services of A.L. Lewis, whose death occurred yesterday morning in this city, will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Parker school house, east of the city. Rev. Popplewell of the Christian church, will conduct the services. The body may be viewed by friends tomorrow afternoon from the hours of 12 to 1:30 o'clock in the parlors of T.B. Oldroyd & son.
