Co. H. 139 Reg Ind. Vol. Inf. ROBERT BERRY FUNERAL-BURIED WITH SOLDIERS' HONOR
The funeral of Robert Berry was held at two o'clock this afternoon from Kirkwood Avenue Christian Church. Services were conducted by Rev. T. J. Clark and many friends attended.
The music was in charge of the church quartet. The Spanish-American War soldiers attended in a body and the farewell salute was fired by a squad from Company H. The remains were interred at Rose Hill with military honors. Pallbearers were as follows: Newton Goodman, Bridge Nichols, Walter Allen, Ben. Smith, Win Sutphin and Charley Stineburg.
