Major League Baseball Player. Played Major League baseball for six seasons (1904, 1908 to 1911) with the Detroit Tigers, St. Louis Cardinals, and New York Giants. He was limited duty with the Tigers and his first year with the Cardinals before becoming a starter om 1908. That year, he won 15 games, but lost 25. Dealt to John McGraw's Giants after the season, he played for New York for the next three years, winning 18 and losing 12 in 1909, but was ineffective the next two years. After the 1911 season he was out of baseball. His lifetime record was 45 Wins, 57 Losses, 136 Games Pitched, 401 Strikeouts, and a career 2.48 Earned Run Average. (bio by: Russ Dodge)
