Cherry Valley resident Brenda J. McKenzie, 23, died Jan. 3 1992 at San Gorgonio Memorial Hospital, Banning.
McKenzie was born July 11, 1968 in Fontana and lived in Cherry Valley for 19 years, coming from Riverside where she had lived for four years. She was employed as a carrier for the Press Enterprise for four months and had also worked for Carl's Jr. for four years.
McKenzie is survived by her parents, Gary and Dixie McKenzie, Cherry Valley; brother Jeff R. McKenzie, Banning; sister Tammy L. McKenzie, Banning; paternal grandmother, Olga McKenzie, Riverside; maternal grandparents, John and Utahanna Hicks, Riverside; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be held Thurs. Jan. 9, 1 p.m. at Weaver Mortuary Chapel, Beaumont. Interment will be at Stewart Sunnyslope Cemetery, Beaumont.
The family suggests that contributions be made to American Heart Association, memorial envelopes available at Weaver Mortuary.
