MRS. MARY BALLARD
Mrs. Mary Ballard, 86, of 107 E. F St., Anniston, died Saturday after a short illness.
Funeral services will be today at 2 p.m. at the Carpenter Memorial Methodist Church with the Rev. O. J. Garrett, the Rev. Lee Tillery and the Rev. Luther Armstrong officiating. Burial will be in Forestlawn Cemetery with Gray Brown - Service Mortuary in charge.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Mattie Lou Bunn of Anniston and Mrs. T. A. Howle of Griffin, Ga.; four sons, James D. Ballard, Harry E. Ballard, Elmer G. Ballard, and David A. Ballard, all of Anniston; four brothers, S. M. Patterson and Arthur Patterson, both of Lineville, Oscar Patterson of Oxford and M. O. Patterson of Talladega; 14 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren and a great-great-grandchild.
Pallbearers will be Frank Ballard, Edward Ballard, Jimmy Ballard, Rodney Ballard, Billy Bunn, and Tommy Howle.
Mrs. Ballard was a native of Clay County and was a resident of Anniston for 50 years. She was a member of the Carpenter Memorial Methodist Church.
