CHRISTOPHER "CHRIS" ANDREW BROOKINS was born November 23, 1971 and died tragically from a lighting strike while mowing grass on August 26, 1994 in Beaumont, Texas.

Chris was a devoted christian and is survived by wife Faith Elizabeth Crane; sister Lanette Golden of Newark, N.J.; parents Bob and Joy Brookins, who has dedicated their lives to service Jesus Christ.

Chris was a member of the Texas National Guard HAB 1st Battalion 133rd FA, who participated in his funeral. Services were held at 2:30 PM on August 28, 1994 at "The Cathedral in the Pines Christian Center". Officiating were The Rev. Delmar Dabney and The Rev. Leora Wagliado.
