Stephenville Tribune 12/13/1910, Wash Allison is said to be very ill at his home near Huckabay, and his recovery is deemed impossible. His brother has arrived and his children are all coming to be with him ere he passes away. No better man ever lived that Wash Allison.

Stephenville Tribune 12/30/1910, Wash Allison died at his home near Huckabay of inflammation ---matism last week, and was .....by the Masons from the Hannibal and Stephenville lodges. Deceased was a splendid type of man and was loved and respected by his neighbors.
