Sarah E. Carper of Williamsburg, R.D. 1, died at noon yesterday at the Altoona hospital. She was born Dec 1, 1883, at Franklinville, and was an adopted daughter of the late Dorothy Ingram. She was married in 1910 in Huntingdon to George E. Carper. Surviving are her husband, six sons and one daughter, George of Tyrone, Robert and william of Martinsburg, Frank and Willard of Williamsburg, Harry of Yellow Springs, William of Saxton and Mrs. William Houck of Calvin; 20 grandchildren; six step-sons, James and Earl of Huntingdon, Archey of Yellow Springs, Samuel of Huntingdon Furnace, Rufus of Williamsburg and Wilmer of Montour County. Mrs. Carper was a member of the Warriors Mark Methodist church. Friends are being received at the Glass Funeral home, Tyrone. This in the paper March 28, 1950.
