Tom was born in Calf Creek, Texas, to O.W. and Jennie Duncan. He lived in Brady and McCulloch County his entire life.
On September 29, 1932, he married Lavada Bingham and became the father of three children, Peggy Jo, Barbara, and Myrl. Tom was a cowboy who was affiliated with the Bible Baptist Church.
Survivors included a daughter, Barbara Vaughn; a son, Myrl; a sister, Pearl Bolt, of Eldorado; a brother, Riley Duncan, of San Angelo; six grandchildren and nine great grand-children.
He was preceded in death by his wife of over 65 years and a daughter, Peggy J. Watkins.
