Body of Former Carthage Woman Brought Here For Burial

Mrs. M. E. Chester, a former resident of Carthage, who left here about ten years ago, died Wednesday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Minnie Moon, in Battle Creek, Michigan. The body, accompanied by the daughter, will arrive in Carthage at 9 o'clock tonight.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Knell chapel at 2:30 o'clock tomorrow afternoon.
Mrs. Chester was about 60 years old. She was the widow of Robert M. Chester, a brother of Dr. Chester, formerly a Carthage physician. R. N. Chester died here in 1907 and is buried in Park Cemetery, where Mrs. Chester's body also will be buried.
The family resided on South Forest Street in this city.
Three other daughters besides Mrs. Moon survive. So far as known none of the other daughters, all of whom are married, will be here for the funeral.
