Memorial to two budgies (parakeets)

Fuzzy Ozzie and Harriet Daschebird were good friends but not really mates.

********Fuzzy Ozzy*********
*****1989- 28 June 1995 *****
Ozzy was a gift given to me after a presentation of "The Wizard of Oz". He always looked fluffy and fuzzy when relaxed. Ozzy mocked computer noises and tried to ring like a bell. He loved mirrors and wore out several in his lifetime. In addition to Harriet, he was good buddies with Arby Garby and Dietmar, others in his "flock". Like so many budgies, Ozzy developed a tumor and grew weaker and weaker. He was very much missed by fellow budgies and humans alike.

********Harriet Daschebird ********
***** 1989 - 1994 ******
Tiny Harriet came to live with us in October 1989. She still had her baby feathers. Harriet liked to chew wood as most budgies do, and she chewed through three perches, including one she was sitting on! She had a grand personality and would hide under paper towels and chew them up like a mouse nest. She tossed her chewed perches around like mini cabers and was always busy, busy, busy. Harriet liked to pick up pieces of popcorn and throw them like snowballs. She died suddenly, possibly a heart attack. She had not been ill.
