On Monday Evening in the town of Ixonia Mr. Friedrich Gaugert, about 75 years of age, passed on of dropsy of the heart. He has lived with his son Fritz, for the past four years and it was at his home that he passed on. He leaves seven children: Carl in Aldrich, Minn.; William in Concord, ; Bertha, Mrs. Fritz Dobratz; Albert in Kirks Falls, Wis.; Ricke, Mrs. William Zimdars; sons Fritz in Ixonia and Louis in Sullivan. Also a brother, August, in Sullivan, and a sister, Mrs. Heinrich Hesse, in Farmington. The funeral took place on Thursday from the home and burial in the Summit Cemetery next to his wife who died ten years ago.
