George Anderson Rodgers/Rogers born to William Wisley Rodgers and Sallie Ann Reid Rodgers was married to Inola Grace Garrett Rogers until she suddenly died in 1967. Anderson re-married a few years later to his son Don Rogers mother in-law Edith Warner.

Edith survives of the home in Dyess, Arkansas. Other survivors include five sons Jimmy Lee Rogers of Phoenix, Arizona, Melton Anderson Rogers of Pasadena, Texas, Alfred Gene Rogers of Raytwon, Missouri, Ray Curmit Rogers of Henrietta, Missouri, and James Donald Rogers of Memphis, Tennessee; and one daughter Patricia Ann Stansberry of Richmond, Missouri.

Anderson was preceded in death by his parents; his youngest child Melvin Curtis "Sonny" Rogers; and Anderson was the last survivor of all his 10 siblings, which included John Rodgers, Martha Lawson, Delia "Deeley" Peters, Delcia Rodgers, Lera Wilson, Julie Brooks, Ada Gilliland, Effie Rodgers, Ernest Rogers, and Robert "Bob" Rodgers.
