Volura Mae Lawson, 77, of Route 1, Eidson, TN, died at 10:30 a.m. at her home after a brief illness.
A lifelong resident of Hawkins County, she was a member of Compromise Baptist Church.
She is preceded in death by two sons, M.B. and Guy Lawson.
Surviving are her husband, Joe Lawson, four daughters, Dorothy Seals and Sally Herron, both of Morristown, Irene Price, Church Hill, Sarah Winstead, Xenia, Ohio, three sons, Charles Lawson, Church Hill, J.C. Lawson, St. Cloud Fla., and James D. Lawson.
