In Smith Township, in this county, on Friday February 15th, of Consumption, Isaac ELLINSWORTH, aged 35 years. The deceased had, until within a few months of his death, enjoyed remarkably good health, and was possessed of an iron-like frame and hardy constitution-one we would least expect to be stricken down, ere he had reached the prime of life. But the scythe of the destroyer knows no age, station, or condition-although it does appear sometimes that the best are taken first. From a personal acquaintance with the deceased of over five years, we can truly say that the community has lost a just, upright and worthy man, and his family an affectionate husband and father. A wife and three children, together with all who personally knew him, feel deeply and mourn his loss. Married Susan Elgan. Parents of Jesse, Nancy Ann and William.
