Robert W. Bear, 53, died yesterday morning at Kings Daughters Hospital after a long illness. He is survived by his wife, Minnie Clark Bear; one son, Robert Lee Bear, Dupont, three daughters, Mrs. Marie McGaughey, Dupont, Mrs. Martha Marie Roberts, route one, Dupont, and Mrs. Mae Knox, Madison, nine grandchildren, and 10 step children.
His first wife, Edna Bear, preceded him in death, in 1963, as well as one son, Gerald Michael Bear, in 1962. Services will be at 2 pm Thursday at the Bear Funeral Home, Dupont with burial in the Dupont Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 7 pm today.
