Bourbonnais Police Officer Justin Honeycutt, age 27 of Manhattan, passed away suddenly Friday, November 4, 2011.
Justin Adam Honeycutt, Age 27, of Manhattan, died suddenly as a result of a car accident, on Friday morning, November 4, 2011. He is survived by his loving parents, Nancy and Don Honeycutt, two brothers, Steven (Stacey) of Beecher, and Jeffrey (Kendra) of Herscher, his twin sister, Amy (Andrew Paul) Honeycutt, one aunt, Linda (Rich) Kelley of MS., two uncles, Tom (Sue) Hynes of Libertyville and Jim Hynes of Maine, his nephew, Luke Honeycutt, his maternal grandmother, Mary Hynes of Franklin Park, the love of his life, Jaclyn Sievers of Elk Grove Village, and numerous cousins and friends. Preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, John and Clara Honeycutt, his maternal grandfather, Charles Hynes, two uncles, Kenneth and Wayne Honeycutt, and three aunts, Margaret Mitchell, Connie Nichols, and Gerry Boyle.
Justin was a graduate of Lincoln-Way High School Class of 2002, Joliet Junior College, and Governors State University with a degree in Criminal Justice. Justin was passionate about his career as a police officer serving the Bourbonnais community. In his spare time he enjoyed working out and watching the Cubs. Justin was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be missed.
Visitation will be Monday, November 7, 2011, from 4-8:00P.M. at Forsythe Funeral Home. Funeral service will be Tuesday, 9:30A.M. from Forsythe Funeral Home to St. Joseph Church, 235 W.
