Patrick was living with his family in Duncan
when he enlisted in the Marine 21May 1968,
at a recruiting office in Oklahoma City.
Upon arriving in Vietnam 23 February 1968
Patrick was assigned to H & S Company,2nd
battalion,9th Marine Regiment,3rd Marine
Division.Patrick went on a patrol and on
returning to Con Thien(Hill 158)Parick and
another Marine accidently walked into a
friendly mine field.Patrick died as a result of
fragmentation wounds to the body.
Survived by his parents,Richard William &
Jo Ellen Robirds and his sister;Bobbie Jean
Robirds all of 614 Nelms St,Duncan,OK.
