Amelia Semrau of Lincoln County dies at age 75.
Five daughters, four sons, a stepson and stepdaughter survive Mrs. Amelia Semrau.
A resident of Pine River 52 years, Mrs. Amelia Semrau, 75 years old, died at 7 a.m. today in her house, she had been ill for three weeks.
Mrs. Semrau was born in Germany, March 27, 1864 and was the wife of Gottlieb Semrau. Surviving are 5 daughters, Mrs. Louise King. Mrs. Louis Klotsky, Mrs. Arthur Baum, Milwaukee; Mrs. Margarette Carpenter. Hammond, Indiana; Mrs. Edward Girt, town of Merrill; four sons, Hugo, Pine River, Paul, Merrill; Walter, Corning; Edward, also of Merrill; a stepson, Emil, Milwaukee; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Walter Newland, Milwaukee; a brother John Ringhandt, Merrill; and a sister, Mrs. Edward Bettin, Kenosha.
She was a member of St. Stephen's Evangelical church and the Ladies Aid Society of the congregation. Funeral arrangements are pending. The body is at Krueger's funeral home.

The funeral for Mrs. Amalia Semrau, 75 years old, Pioneer resident of the town of Pine River, will be held next Thursday at 1:30 from the home and 2 p.m. from St. Stephen's Evangelical Church. the Rev. M.M. Schmidt officiating. Burial will be in the Merrill Cemetery.
