She was the daughter of the late Robert Lee and Mary Wilson Armstead.
She leaves to cherish her memory, a loving and devoted family, her husband, Harold Barbour; three sons, Harold Barbour Jr. and Brian Barbour, both of Ivy, and Dale Barbour of Fluvanna; two daughters, Donna Williams of Greensboro, North Carolina, and Demetria Barbour of Ivy; two brothers, John Armstead and Sterling Armstead, both of Ivy; one sister, Edmonia MacNeal of Montgomery Village, Maryland, eight grandchildren, one great-grandchild, and a host of other beloved relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, December 30, 2010, at Mount Carmel Baptist Church, with the Reverend Cathleen Burnett officiating.
Burial followed at the White Hall Family Cemetery.
