Mr. Johnson, an A.T.&T. Communications technician, died Tuesday, September 26, of cancer at Mississippi Baptist Medical Center in Jackson. Baldwin-Lee of Pearl was in charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Johnson was a native of White Oak. He moved to Brandon 18 years ago. He was a member of the First Baptist Church of Brandon. He was a member of the Brotherhood and TV Ministries, Pete Lake Hunting Club and CWA Union with A.T.&T.
He is survived by his wife, Shirley Nixon Johnson of Brandon; daughter Shannon Stegall of Brandon; sons Brady Johnson of Brandon, Jason Johnson of Brandon; mother, Annie Merle Johnson Dupree of Baytown, TX; brothers, Robert E. Johnson, Dwight Johnson, and Morris Johnson all of Baytown, TX.
Pallbearer for Mr. Johnson were; Richard Grant, Andy White, Bobby Warren, Curtis Bobinger, Jigs Griffing and Tommy Griffing.
Honorary Pallbearers were the Firs Baptist Church Brotherhood.
