ASPLUND
Robert A. Asplund, reported in today's casualty list as wounded, degree undetermined, died last month from woulds received Oct. 2, 1918, in the Battle of the Argonne forest, according to a notice received from the War Department, by his mother, Mrs. Margaret A. Asplund, --- N. 4th St., Kansas side, on March 4. Mr. Asplund was a mechanic with Co. A, 137th Infantry, 35th Division, formerly the Kansas side unit of the First Kansas Infantry. He had been a member of the company more than three years. (Kansas City Star, K C MO, March 11, 1919.
