Clifford(Tiffy) VanNostrand was a carpenter who lived for many years on the north west corner of Route 32 and Tillson Road in the Hamlet of Tillson, New York. He was a past President and Chief of the Tillson Volunteer Fire Department. He was well known for his friendly instigating with his buddies and always beng the life of the party. He helped many young men become good volunteer firefighters. He loved snowmobiling and his family. He would always talk about the snowmobiling trips he took to Speculator, New York and Yellowstine Park in Montana. Every once in awhile, he was also known for having a beer or two at the firehouse. Tiffy died in his home of a heart attack.
