Charlotte Eda Brown, age 96, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, March 30, 2010 in Topeka. She was born January 27, 1914 in Vesta, Nebraska the daughter of Jacob and Marie Wagner.

Charlotte married Kenneth Brown January 26, 1939. They celebrated 50 years of marriage in 1989 with family and friends at their home. They celebrated an additional 15 years, marking their 65 years of wedding bliss.

Charlotte was a dedicated homemaker. She loved to cook and entertain. Charlotte was an avid crossword player and also enjoyed crocheting, sewing and playing cards.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth on December 30, 2004; a son, Charles Brown on November 1, 2007 and a grandson, Chris Brown on December 1, 2009.

She is survived by 2 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren and 28 nieces and nephews.

Charlottes wishes were to be cremated. Memorial graveside services will be Tuesday, April 6, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at the Mt. Hope Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Heart of America Hospice Care and sent in care of the Davidson Funeral Home. A special thanks to Sonia, Dannie, Carolyn, Betty and Amy.
