Obituary from FAG contributor L. Forbes: "George A. Hahn, lifelong resident of Muscatine and owner of the George A. Hahn Commission company, died suddenly at his home about noon today following an attack of acute indigestion. Mr. Hahn was not feeling well this morning but his condition was not considered serious.
Mr. Hahn was born in Muscatine, Nov. 28, 1862, spending all his life here. He was the son of Mr. and Mrs. John Hahn. He married Miss Anna M. Coyner here, Oct. 1, 1902.
He was a member of the First Methodist Episcopal church. Surviving are his widow, at the home at 900 West Third street; one daughter, Mrs. Marie Hahn Baker, Cedar Rapids; the following brothers and sisters; Mrs. W. A. Appel, Mrs. W. C. Knight, Henry B. Hahn, all of this city; John, of Springfield, Mo.; E. L. Hahn, Ella and Ida Hahn, all of Muscatine; and Mrs. Elizabeth Childs of Los Angeles.
The body was taken to the Hoffman Funeral Home but will be returned to the family home later.
