William "Willie" Vosburgh
Birth: 1911
Death: Feb. 11, 1918

My first cousin 1x removed, Willie aged seven.

BOY DIES OF BURNS.
Canajoharie Lad Victim of Accident While Playing About Stove.

William Vosburgh, aged seven, son of Mr. and Mrs. John Vosburgh, of Canajoharie, died Monday of burns sustained while playing around a chunk stove. The lad's father had thrown fresh wood on the fire and had left the room. The boy in some way came in contact with the fire and was terribly burned about the face and body. The parents, three brothers and two sisters survive.

Published in the Amsterdam Evening Recorder, Page 6, Wednesday, February 13, 1918.

I have no futher information on Willie.

Rest in peace with our Sweet Lord Jesus Christ, little one.

A special Thank you to Diane Miller for sponsoring my cousin Willie.
