Jeril Edward Terry, 72, of Lebanon, died Sunday, Feb. 28, 2010, at his daughter's home in Branson.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Gladys Terry, of Niangua; three brothers, Calvin Terry, of Hutchinson, Kan., Robert Terry, of Marshfield and David Terry, of Niangua; three grandchildren, Ralph Detherow, H.J. Baedke and Amber Terry, and a great-grandchild, Kylee Detherow Wofford.
He was a retired commercial painter and a member of the Carpenters' House in Branson.
Survivors include a son, Randy Terry, of Springfield; two daughters, Jerrie Traiser and her husband, Robert, of Branson; Stephanie Miller and her husband, Ronnie, of Lebanon; his long-time companion, Vida Richardson, of Lebanon; nine grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; a brother, Otto Terry and his wife, Rita, of Niangua; three sisters, Janie Mercer and her husband, James, of Ozark; Connie Isis and her husband, John, of Lawton, Okla. and Doris Rhodes and her husband, Joe, of Lebanon; two sister-in-laws, Henrietta Terry, of Hutchinson, Kan. and Grace Terry, of Camdenton, also a number of nieces and nephews.
A memorial service for Jeril Edward Terry will be held at 1 p.m. Friday, March 12, 2010, in the Fraker Funeral Home in Marshfield.
At his request his body has been donated to scientific study after which he will be buried in the Good Spring Cemetery near Niangua.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Free Medical Clinic of the Ozarks in Jerry's memory, 118 Third Street, Branson, Mo. 65616.
