To clarify, I was incorrect a few years back. The Almand cemetery an old Conyers cemetery are not the same one, they are two different Cemeteries.

Happy Veterans Day - to my 4th Great Uncle who served in the War of 1812.

He was my 4th Great-Grandfather, he was a War of 1812 Veteran, and considered to be the oldest Grave in this Cemetery. This Cemetery is also called "Alomnd". Some of his grandchildren are buried in Polk County, Ga. There is also another Marbut Family Cem...(Read more)
