Obituary: Mr. William Clyde "W.C." Bullard,age 72, of Lake City, died Thursday, June 4, 1998. He had resided in Lake City all of his life. He was employed as a route salesman with the Lake City Laundry for 17 years and was employed as a traffic controller with the Columbia County Road Department for 12 years until his retirement in 1990. He was a member of the Lake City Church of God and an Army veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Martha June Christie Bullard, his son, Julian Douglas "Doug" Bullard and his wife Debbie, of Lake City; a grandson ,Clinton Douglas Bullard; one sister, Jewel Silcox of Jacksonville, FL; two step-sisters, Rosette Keen and Gladys Hill, both of Lake City; He was preceded in death by a sister, Eunice Little Snelgrove and a step-sister, Essie Ginn. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday, June 7th in the Chapel of Guerry Funeral Home with Lonnie Johns, pastor of Christ Central Ministries officiating, assisted by Rev. Mark Johns. Interment will follow in Scott Cemetery north of Lake City.

Husband of Martha June Christie 1933 - 1999. They had one son Douglas Bullard. W.C. loved to coon hunt and fight game chickens. He had diabetes and was blind before his death. He lived in the V.A. Domicillary his last months of his life.
