Charles Weidenbach

Charles Weidenbach, 85, of 2512 Upton Street, a retired employee of the Chesapeake and Ohio railroad, died Friday, in Port Huron Hospital after a short illness.
A resident of Port Huron for 40 years, he was born Feb. 8, 1881 in St. Clair. He was employed by C&O for 30 years before retiring in 1946.
He is survived by two daughters Mrs. James E. O'Rourke, Port Huron, Mrs. Willard Haver, Sr., Metamora; 9 grandchildren, 34 great grandchildren, 3 great-great grandchildren, a sister Miss Theresa Weidenbach, St. Clair, and several nieces and nephews.
The remains are in the Arthur Smith Funeral Home where the rosary will be conducted at 9 a.m. Monday, in St. Joseph's Catholic Church, by rev. Richard T. Parrish, pastor.
Mr. Weidenbach attended St. Joseph's Catholic Church.
Burial will be in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
