HENRY GARRETT OF DARKSVILLE DIES
HUNTSVILLE, Dec. 21 (Monitor-Index Special Service)---Henry Garrett, 89, died at his home in Darksville yesterday morning at 1 o'clock. Mr. Garrett had been an invalid for the last five years.
Mr. Garrett had spent most of his life in Randolph County, coming here while still a boy. Since early manhood he had lived at or near Darksville and was well known over the county.
He is survived by his widow and four daughters, Mrs. Ben McDaniel of Darksville, Mrs. Olevia Webster of Darksville, Mrs. Forest Cooley of Moberly and Mrs. Joe Haines of St. Louis.
Funeral services were conducted at the Darksville Church at 2 o'clock this afternoon by the Rev. E. M. Richmond, pastor.

FUNERAL IS HELD FOR HENRY GAIRRET
Henry T. Gairret, for whom funeral services were conducted at Mt. Shiloh Baptist Church yesterday afternoon was a native of Pike County, Illinois, and a member of the Union forces during the Civil War. He had been a resident of Randolph County since 1880.
Mrs. J. E. Cooley , 1108 Concannon street, is one of four daughters who survive. A brother, Jasper Gairret of Nebraska, also survives as do six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
