BLOOM, Rubie Pearl - age 94, of Roseburg passed away March 30, 1986 in a local nursing home. She was born March 10, 1892 in Arborville, Nebraska. On August 24, 1910 in Polk, Nebraska she married Hjalmar Bloom. She had lived in the Roseburg area since 1910. She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge for over 50 years and was a Past Noble Grand. She was also a member of The Eastern Star Chapter #8 of Roseburg and a Past Master of the Evergreen Grange. Survivors include her son, L.D. Bloom of Roseburg; granddaughter, Sharon Heidrick of Roseburg; great-granddaughter, Jahmilee Heidrick of Roseburg; brother, Harry Shaffer of Mesa, Arizona. Her busband, Hjalamr preceded her in death on December 27, 1972. Graveside Services will be held Tuesday, April 1, 1986 at 11 AM at the Roseburg Memorial Gardens with the Rebekah's Lodge of Roseburg officiating. Services under the direction of LONG & SHUKLE MEMORIAL CHAPEL.
