They moved to Englewood, CO shortly after getting married and bought a house where they spent the rest of their lives together. He worked many jobs including truck driver for the Manhattan Project, and dynamite loader. He spent many years as a wood worker and even after retirement, could be found in his workshop working on a new wood project. He enjoyed fishing and spending time with his family.
