AGUIRRE, Alberto, 21, of San Manuel, passed away April 22, 1997 in San Manuel. He was born April 17, 1976 in Silver City, New Mexico. He came with his family nine years ago to San Manuel, where he attended high school, graduating in 1995. He was captain of the football team, an All-Conference Champion in wrestling and was a member of the basketball team. He graduated from the Arizona Automotive Institute in 1997. He was recently employed by BHP Copper Co. in San Manuel. He was a wonderful father and husband and loved all his family dearly. Survivors include his wife, Jennifer and baby son, Alberto Jr.; parents, Efren and Maria Aguirre; brothers, Efren Jr. (Karla) and Noel; grandparents, Esteban and Guadalupe Aguirre and Francisco and Rosa Holguin. The Rosary will be at 8:00 p.m., Thursday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church in Mammoth. The Mass will be at 9:00 a.m., Friday, also at Blessed Sacrament. Interment will follow at Valley View Cemetery in Mammoth. Griffith Mortuary made arrangements.
