Carney C. Fesler died attempting to save Ivy E. Ricketts from drowning, Arcadia, Missouri, July 22, 1927. While wading in Lake Killarney, Miss Ricketts, 45, unexpectedly got into deep water and sank. Fesler, 43, clergyman, waded from the bank 20 feet and then dived toward the point where Miss Ricketts had disappeared. He did not rise. Both were drowned. 27465-2195
