Edward Stanley Tupacz, age 87, of New Boston, MI, passed away Sunday, February 7, 2010 at his home. He was born April 27, 1922 in Sumpter Township, MI, son of the late Joseph & Bernice (Zawadski) Tupacz.
Mr. Tupacz retired from the Ford Motor Company Ypsilanti Plant after 38 years of loyal service as at Tool & Die Maker. He owned and operated the Tupacz Apple Orchard on Judd Road. Ed was a member of St. Stephen Catholic Church, New Boston, MI. He was also an avid sportsman.
Survived by three children Edward (Susan) Tupacz of New Boston, MI, Nancy (Thomas) Harrington of Willis, MI and Joe (Ellen) Tupacz of Belleville, MI, 8 grandchildren, also a sister Lottie Modzelewski of Sumpter Township, MI.
He was preceded in death by his parents, his loving wife Jean, also a brother-in-law Felix Modzelewski.
Visitation will be 2-8 PM Tuesday, February 9, 2010 at the David C. Brown Funeral Home, Belleville, with a 7:30 PM Scripture Service. Prayers at the funeral home will be Wednesday, February 10, 2010 at 10:15 AM processing to St. Stephen Catholic Church, New Boston for an 11 AM Mass with Father John Hedges as Celebrant. Interment will be in Michigan Memorial Park, Flat Rock, MI.
