Henry "Hal" MASENGILL was the son of Henry MASSENGILL & Mary COBB. He m. 1779 (1) Penelope COBB (dau. of Wm. COBB) and he m. (2) Mary McCORKLE (no issue); he m. (3) on 6 Aug 1814 Elizabeth EMMERT (dau. of Jacob).
"Henry Masengill (1758-1837) received a pension for service as private in the North Carolina troops. He was born in VA; died in Sulliavan Co, TN"
