FUNERAL FOR PIONEER LADY
Maranda Helen Largent, 81, died Jan 2 at the home of her son F.M. Largent, who lives south of the city.
She was a pioneer of this community, having lived around Lindsey for approximately 50 years.
Burial rites were Jan 3. in the Brown Funeral Home, with interment in Purdy Cemetery. Rev. Glenwood Buzbee officiated.
Immediate survivors are her daughters, Mrs. Ola Lee Bunch of Lindsey and Mrs. Janie Bunch of California.
Isaac Schoonover of Erin Springs, is her brother and Mrs. Zaretha Knox of Tulsa, her sister.
